National Sweater Day

In Canada 7th of February marks a National Sweater Day - wear yours loud and proud!

Cut off

While walking down to Tartu College on a fine and spring-looking January Saturday I noticed how the trees are cut in Canada. Little branch by branch and then to the machine which breaks it all into wooden chips and wooddust. Simple and easy.

Christmas Day dinner!

Table was festive and full of all kind of nice Christmas meals, of course vegetarian meals were offered as well. Blessed to be around these people during this very special time.

When in Canada, I behaved liek one - enjoyed winter and snow, while sleighing with the original hand-made sleigh! Love winter!

Jake got this brand new sleigh, hand-made artisan one, by the way, for Christmas and we took it out to ride. I mean I took mostly photos, though, but I got to try it too!

What can you do out of rubber?

Imagine you have lot of tire rubber available.

You can cut it to a long strip of rubber.

And make a huge snowshoe!

It is crucial to have all the wires run correctly.

Then you just try to imitate the older model, of course with a little help.

Your hands will get dirty, but you would love the result!
