About

This blog is by an Estonian discovering her childhood dream country Canada. Based in Toronto, but sometimes traveling. Looking for an Estonian connection in the far away country and giving away tips about what to see, what to do, what to experience. Hence the name of the blog: Toronto. Canada. Estonia.

Next day after the storm

Nova survived!

Streets look so messy.

But sun is shining and all is well!

The paths really make sense now.

Idyllic.

Children sure have fun.

Nationalism

Some people put their thoughts out big and bold.

Snow princesses

I met Eve in the crazy snowstorm - it was even worse afternoon than in the morning :O

People handling the snowstorm

Photos of people managing the snowstorm on Friday afternoon in Toronto, in one of the craziest snowstorms it has ever faced.

Drama on the streets

More of some views in the very snowy downtown of Toronto, well, these have been taken during my walk back home.

Bloor Street vol. 2

Here! Finally reached to my destination, and I would say that it even looks worse than before, traffic is still quiet. It took me 40 minutes longer to make it, so I was basically walking for two hours, but of course I was taking photos, too :)

Bloor Street vol. 1

Some details I came across, while walking on Bloor street.

Traffic

Of course the traffic was really slow, because not many people decided to even get in their cars. I loved to see the brave cyclist on the first two photos, as I love his dedication. The second photo is my favorite from the series.

The Bloor Bridge

This is a long bridge, which is not taken care of during the heavy snowfall, as you can see very well on the first photo. But the views it was offering, when I was trying to find my way though all that - were breath-taking.

Estonian House

Passed the Estonian House on my way - looking so beautiful!

Shovelers

Many people were out in front of their homes, trying to keep it under control, but it looked like fighting with a sand in the desert - always coming back.

First view on the street

Looking pretty promising, eh?

Buses struggle and houses look so beautiful.
