Yayyy, when all this freezing was done - we all got to come inside and enjoy some meals and nice company. We had this pretty cool woman sitting in our table with a funny set on. Heheheee, new year has started interestingly :)

I didn't know that it was actually not exciting to stand there alone, just before the New Year!

Besides some lone runners every now and then, I had the CN Tower and the fireworks to keep me company.

Oh, how I loved those nicely lit runners :)

Yeah, I know, the quality is really bad, but that is the best my little compact camera can do!

Midnite run & party vol. 1

I wanted to do volunteering and spend the last day of the year doing something interesting. Luckily there was a running event, which was looking for volunteers. I talked Evelyn to come with me and there we were - amongst all runners trying to find our way there. 

First we checked-in participants and handed them their packages. We saw some cool  runners, who have been creative to get their lights on.

Chicago vs Toronto

Here are some shots of the NBA game my friend took me to see. It was a great show and some great basketball. What an experience!

The sgame took place in Air Canada Centre, which is the home fro Toronto Raptors.

Toronto Blue Jays baseball game

I was hanging around with my camera at Blue Jays Way and waiting for another fellow Estonian with whom we were going to see first baseball game we had ever seen in our lives. It was a special game Toronto Blue Jays vs New York Yankees. Cool, uh?


So they have a street called after their favorite team.

People started flowing in pretty early.

Mostly wearing the caps of their favorite Toronto team.

Some had t-shirts and other gear to show some respect.

Getting in seemed a hassle, but it went pretty smoothly actually.

That is how Rogers Centre looks from the nosebleed seats.

Our favorite player Bautista is ready for the hit.

Baseball field

I have only seen baseball fields in US movies, but they seem to be as normal in Canada, as over there. New for me. Huge lights have been set up for people to be able to get some physical exercise outdoors. Cool!
