About

This blog is by an Estonian discovering her childhood dream country Canada. Based in Toronto, but sometimes traveling. Looking for an Estonian connection in the far away country and giving away tips about what to see, what to do, what to experience. Hence the name of the blog: Toronto. Canada. Estonia.

The Royal Canadian Legion

The Royal Canadian Legion is a non-profit Canadian ex-service organization (veterans organization) founded in 1925. Membership includes people who have served as current and former military, Royal Canadian Mounted Police, provincial and municipal police, Royal Canadian Air, Army and Sea Cadets, direct relatives of members and also affiliated members. Membership is now also open to the general public.

You can see legions everywhere, in small villages and big cities. In smaller places, like the one I visited they are the main attraction for settlers during the weekends, as often it is the only entertainment in the village.
