Visit to Kotkajärve

Kotkajärve is known as Estonian Scouts and Guides camp grounds. For decades many local Estonians have purchased lots and built or bought households where they live throughout the year. Originally it became known and appreciated in 1967 when the first Kotkajärve Metsaülikool (Forest university) took place there. Metsaülikool was established on 1966 as an apolitical organization for spreading objective information about Estonian culture, science, politics and public questions. Every year such themes training's take place.

They even have a trail named after Lembit Pikkov. Very Estonian!

Nature during fall is absolutely breath-taking, as overall in Muskoka. Next time some views of the Canadian Fall.

Phone madness

Didn't have time to check my phone during an exciting night, so when I got home and checked it, it was pretty busy :)

Nuit Blanche madness

World's longest street Yonge St. was so busy at a late hour like during a New Year's Eve. The southern strip of the street was closed and lots of happenings, performances and shows took place there and its side streets.

The greatest art experience.

Nuit Blanche at College Street

That was by far the coolest exhibition I have ever been, as you had to take off your shoes and socks to be able to visit and you got an umbrella as well. You got to walk in water and step on logs and pass showers. So it was like a forest or a rain forest, however you felt like.

After the event you could sanitize your feet and dry with a tissue. Such a cool idea and nicely organized.

Japanese had put together a cool exhibition about their architecture, art, culture and transportation. Here is a mini maquette of Tokyo.

Nuit Blanche

My greatest Toronto art experience happened while participating at Nuit Blanche. This is sunset to sunrise a

 free all-night contemporary art event throughout Toronto.

My starting point was Bata Shoe Museum at Bloor Street West. Stuff already happened outside. Next post will reveal the inside.
