Niagara Falls is not so far from Toronto, but still a good few hours of a drive to south. Landscape is nothing much until the highway takes you near the water or Niagara Escarpment is close. It is a long escarpment, or cuesta, in the United States and Canada that runs predominantly east/west from New York State, through Ontario, Michigan, Wisconsin and Illinois. More about it later.
